Porn at Work Causing Computer Problems

WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 13, 2013) – Porn in the workplace is causing new problems, according to a recent survey. IT workers said in a ThreatTrack Security survey that they waste time removing easily avoidable malware. 40 percent of the malware found on executive’s devices is caused by viewing online pornography.

“Companies are paying for their employees to watch porn and contribute to the sexual exploitation of women,” said Dawn Hawkins, Executive Director of Morality in Media. “Not only does pornography inherently dehumanize women, but it creates a higher demand for trafficked and prostituted women.”
