The Northwest Coalition for Healthy Intimacy is an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting adults, teens, children, families and communities in building healthy relationships and educating about the negative effects of pornography and unhealthy sexualization.

During this conference, experts will discuss how sexualized media alters the brain and how couples can effectively work together to:

  • improve emotional, spiritual and physical intimacy in your relationships
  • promote emotional health and wholeness in a home environment
  • heal or protect families from addiction
  • let go of toxic shame and foster honesty, transparency, understanding and forgiveness in our homes and communities

Speakers include:

Dr. Douglas Weiss, PhD: Executive Director of Heart to Heart Counseling Center, Colorado. President of American Association of Sex Addiction Therapists (AASAT).

Dr. Donald L. Hilton, Jr., MD: Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at University of Texas Medical School, San Antonio.

Geoff Steurer, LMFT: A clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health, and the LifeSTAR Network.

Rhyll and Steven Croshaw: Co-founders and President/Executive Director of S.A. Lifeline Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing information and education to those impacted by pornography and sexual addiction.

LaVarr McBride: Instructor of Criminology at Penn State

Jessica Mockett: Director/Producer of the documentary, The Heart of the Matter: Finding Light in the Darkness of Pornography Addiction.

Melody Jackman: Masters degree candidate in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling at George Fox University
