Craig Osten

Craig Osten serves as Director of Development for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. Craig has more than 30 years of experience working in public advocacy and fundraising for organizations such as Focus on the Family and Alliance Defending Freedom. In those roles he has been actively involved in defending and protecting human dignity.

During his career, he has been involved in a variety of communication ventures, including serving as a political reporter; producing daily radio programs and specials; providing strategic leadership to a foundations team successfully bringing in several million dollars per year; serving as managing editor of monthly newsletters as well as providing editorial assistance for numerous national magazines; and creating and managing a public policy response division for Focus on the Family. He has served as a speechwriter for numerous high-profile leaders and as liaison to leaders in government and media. He is also a sought-after writer of opinion editorials on issues concerning human dignity. Finally, he is the co-author of four books with Alan Sears and Tim Goeglein and served as managing editor on several more books for best-selling authors such as Dr. James Dobson and Dr. Wayne Grudem.

Craig is a graduate of University of California-Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Political Communication. He has also done graduate level work at California State University-Sacramento and Fuller Theological Seminary. He and his wife lead the young adult ministry at their church, and he has a passion for mentoring young adults to become future leaders. He loves history, dogs, baseball, and classic movies.
