Tim Nester

Vice President, Communications

As Vice President of Communications at NCOSE, Tim leads the efforts to spread the word about the movement to end sexual exploitation. Using various content and marketing strategies across the website, email, social media platforms, and media outlets, he is responsible for ensuring that the voice of the organization reaches users and inspires them to take action.

Tim graduated from Cedarville University in 2005 with a degree in Bible Education and Youth Ministry, and he spent nearly a decade serving as a full-time pastor. In 2016, Tim joined the team at Focus on the Family to help lead their digital marketing efforts, including a full rebuild of all their websites, apps, and backend systems. In 2020, he joined the NCOSE staff where he has helped to shape their online presence and has become a leader and spokesperson in the movement to end sexual exploitation.

Tim and his wife have been married for over 20 years, and they have 7 kids, including 1 international adoption and 2 adopted out of the foster care system. After serving as foster parents for 5 years, they were able to see first-hand the direct effects of many of the issues connected with sexual exploitation, including child sexual abuse. This experience has given Tim the drive to pursue this cause with an even greater passion as he fights to build a better world for the next generation.

Why I Do This Work:

As a father, I want my children to see that example and value the dignity of each person they meet.
