Washington, DC (May 18, 2020) – The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) is encouraged that the forthcoming Netflix documentary on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein will focus on several survivors’ own testimony of his sexual abuse and trafficking. Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich will premiere May 27, 2020, on Netflix.

“Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse are crucial to bringing his horrific actions to light, and we hope that this documentary further reveals that sexual abuse is wrong—no matter how prominent or wealthy the offender may be—and needs to be confronted,” said Dawn Hawkins, senior vice president and executive director of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. “There are others who facilitated or participated in his web of sexual exploitation who must still be brought to justice.”

“We hope that the survivors featured in this documentary recover some measure of healing and justice by sharing their stories. Because of predators who remain unidentified or shielded by power and influence, we will continue to fight sexual exploitation in every form and to defend human dignity.”
