The family—perhaps YOUR family—is under attack.
Will you give $25, $50 or whatever you can today to change this.
Sadly, 56% of divorces cite Internet pornography as a major factor in the breakup of their marriage. It destroys intimacy, trust and love. The deepest, most fulfilling relationships that we can have with another are being ripped apart because of this growing pandemic. Many of our young men and women aren’t even capable of forming this special relationship with another because they are getting a regular diet of this degrading and deviant material before they even reach puberty.
No group in America is doing more than MIM to stop this threat. I hope you know that. And that is why I urge you to help us meet our critical goal this week of $100,000.
Summertime is the worst time for our fundraising – few donations come in but I want you to know that there isn’t a day all summer long that we aren’t working for you and your family. I promise you that!
Please give a contribution today.
Here are a few examples about how we are working to help strengthen families:
- We provide extensive education and a comprehensive database of resources to parents, spouses, and loved ones on how to protect themselves and their families, how to understand this issue, how talk about it and more. People can’t find this compilation of tools anywhere else.
- The Federal Communications Commission wanted to change policies to begin allowing nudity and profanity on broadcast TV right when families often enjoy time together in the evening. So, we led efforts in the Senate and partnered with other groups to lead an offensive to stop this change right in its tracks. We succeeded!
- Our work is helping Google to become more family-friendly.
- We heard from 200+ military families in 9 months about how pornography was especially rampant in the military and contributing to the problems in their families. We took this to Congress, the Department of Defense and to the media. As a result, the US Army and Air Force stopped selling porn on bases and all branches have removed explicit materials from public and work spaces.
All that we do is geared towards ending the pandemic of harm from pornography and helping the victims find help, healing and a brighter future. Imagine where we would be today if Morality In Media stopped fighting. We need help to do this—YOUR help. Please give what you can today.
Sincerely,
Dawn Hawkins
