40+ Groups Join Day of Prayer Against Pornography
WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 3, 2013) –  More than 40 groups will join Morality in Media in a National Day of Prayer to strengthen the fight against pornography. On December 10, 2013 thousands of supporters will join together in this effort. Groups participating in this effort include Alliance Defending Freedom, American Family Association, Family Research Council, and many others.
“We realized that this is what the movement needs to do. We’re asking supporters to raise our efforts up in prayer and to help those struggling from the affects of pornography,” said Dawn Hawkins, executive director of Morality in Media.
Pornography is inherently dehumanizing and sexually exploitive. Not only does porn lead to addiction and the breakdown of families, but also is closely tied to sex trafficking, child abuse, and violence against women.
Suggested prayer requests can be found at http://pornharms.com/prayer. People of all religious backgrounds are invited to participate.
