Cheney criticized for Playboy interview

An anti-pornography group is bashing former Vice President Cheney for his recent interview with Playboy magazine, alleging he helped legitimize the magazine and its lewd subject matter.

“Playboy’s introduction into American culture has served to break down social mores, ultimately spawning addictive behaviors, decay of marriage, the increase of child pornography and child predators, the increase of sexual violence and more demand for trafficked and prostituted women and children,” Dawn Hawkins, the executive director of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, said in a statement.

Dick Cheney Playboy Interview Called ‘Inappropriate’ By Anti-Porn Group

An anti-porn group is accusing former Vice President Dick Cheney of alienating women and endorsing pornography and sexual exploitation by giving an interview to Playboy magazine in which Cheney blasts the Obama administration on several fronts. The National Center on Sexual Exploitation said Wednesday that Cheney’s interview for the April issue of Playboy “further mainstreams pornography usage and fuels the acceptance of the hyper-sexualized, pornified state of our union.”

Alarming New Study: Rise in Youth-Produced Child Pornography

Washington, DC (March 11, 2015) – A new research study concludes there is an, “increasing trend for distribution of sexually explicit content produced by younger children using laptop webcams.” The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and Microsoft participated in the study, examining 3,803 images and videos, of “youth-produced sexual content” depicting young people and uploaded by the children or covertly recorded by a third party. The report, “Emerging Patters and Trends Report #1 Youth-Produced Sexual Content, was published on March 10, 2015.
