Happy Thanksgiving!

By:

Throughout this year, and especially this Thanksgiving season, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support in fighting the harms of pornography and sexual exploitation, in defense of dignity. Only with your help are we able to continue our aggressive efforts. Your have made the difference, allowing us all to succeed.

In the last year alone, we celebrated many important victories. We launched PornHarmsAction.com, a site dedicated to supplying access to policy-makers to affect change through petitions, emails, phone calls and more.  Morality in Media played a crucial role in Google’s decision to create policies within Google AdWords against porn advertisements and websites.  Following our campaign against Verizon’s OnDemand incest- and child-themed pornography options, Verizon quietly removed the films we mentioned. 2014 victoriesWe met frequently with the Chairman and commissioners of the Federal Communications Commission to request they not weaken the standards for television to allow nudity and profanity, and the outcome of those meetings has been positive. In May, we launched the first annual Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation Summit, where we assembled and unified nearly 250 leaders in the movement to fight pornography and sexual exploitation.

These are just some of the victories from 2014. You and others like you have been instrumental in these efforts by taking action and speaking out against the harms of pornography.

We are already anxious for the New Year so we can launch new projects, campaigns and events we hope will make an even greater impact in this fight.

Thank you for your support and faith in us.

We are all wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
