The Fight Against Pornhub Rages On: New Book, New Lawsuits, New Victories!

Remember Serena Fleites, who had child sexual abuse material of her distributed on Pornhub at the age of fourteen, and became homeless as a result of the trauma?

Remember Victoria Galy, who was date raped and secretly filmed by her ex, and found hundreds of sexually explicit videos of herself on Pornhub?

Remember the 40 women who were sex trafficked by Girls Do Porn, a verified content partner of Pornhub’s?

Remember the female college students who were filmed showering and changing after a field hockey game, and later discovered the video footage on Pornhub?

These survivors have not forgotten how they suffered at the hands of Pornhub. And neither can we.

For years, we have been calling for Pornhub to be held accountable for distributing and profiting from child sexual abuse material, recorded rape/sex trafficking, and non-consensually created/distributed videos.

Together with courageous survivors, powerful allies like Laila Mickelwait, and YOU, we have seen unprecedented victories, with nearly all mainstream corporate partners cutting ties with Pornhub and lawsuits flying at them from right, left and center.

And the fight rages on! Here is the latest on the movement to bring down Pornhub.

Laila Mickelwait Releases New Book, Takedown

Laila Mickelwait, founder of the Traffickinghub movement and the Justice Defense Fund, just published a new book!

Takedown is “the true, never before told story of how Mickelwait mobilized a movement of two million people and together they accomplished ‘the biggest takedown of content in Internet history.’”

This was a moment we all celebrated, when public pressure forced Pornhub to delete 10 million unverified videos, amounting to almost 80% of its total content! Follow Laila Mickelwait as she gives you an insider look at the before and after of this world-shaking event.

Progress in NCOSE Class-Action Lawsuit Against Pornhub

The NCOSE Law Center is representing child sex trafficking survivor Jane Doe in a class-action lawsuit against Pornhub. This suit has taken two big steps forward since the beginning of the year.

First, it received class certification. This means that any survivor of child sexual abuse material distributed on Pornhub have a right to receive compensation if the lawsuit is won.

Second, Pornhub was ordered that they must put a notice about the class action lawsuit on their website! This will alert other survivors of their rights through the suit.

Thank you for making justice possible for survivors with your support!

25 Lawsuits and Counting!

Pornhub is now facing 25 lawsuits from nearly 300 survivors whose abuse videos distributed on the site. And the number keeps growing!

According to Business Insider, more than a dozen of these lawsuits have been filed in the past month alone, and lawyers are currently working to file cases that represent hundreds more survivors.

Survivor voices will not be silenced! Pornhub will be brought to justice!

THANK YOU for your ongoing support as we continue fight against this mega-exploiter! We have already reduced Pornhub to a mere stub of what it was, and we will not rest until it is brought fully to its knees!
