One News Now: A response re: the ‘social benefits’ of child porn

One expert is calling the proposal to decriminalize child pornography misguided.

While Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of cryptocurrency Ethereum, is quoted in a Breitbart article as saying that child pornography might have social benefits, National Center on Sexual Exploitation(NCOSE) President Patrick Trueman insists that children cannot consent to participating in porn.

“So [Buterin’s] essentially asking for legalization of a form of sexual slavery, slavery of our children. And if it’s legalized, then the demand goes dramatically up,” Trueman warns. “The world is already dealing with a crisis of child pornography.”
