It is absolutely essential that the United States Senate pass H.R. 1865, FOSTA-SESTA, the week of March 12 to amend the Communications Decency Act Section 230. Why now? The House passed this bill February 28, and it’s the most monumental reform to fight sex trafficking in decades. But Senators, with pressure from outside opposition, can kill this bill simply by failing to bring it to the floor for a vote, meaning that Senators who support the underlying reform will never get a chance to vote yea or nay.
