Oracle, a multinational computer technology corporation, became the very first major tech company to publicly support Congressional efforts to amend the Communications Decency Act Section 230, which currently allows broad immunity to websites facilitating sex trafficking.

Oracle stated: “If enacted, [efforts to amend the Communications Decency Act] will establish some measure of accountability for those that cynically sell advertising but are unprepared to help curtail sex trafficking.”
