The United States military is not only the finest fighting force in the world, but the most respected element of our government. Yet, there is a troubling problem that is common to all military bases — the patronization of sexually oriented business by military personnel.
Strip clubs are one of the most common types of such businesses. The link between strip clubs, prostitution and human trafficking is well established. While the Department of Defense has finally acknowledged this by prohibiting patronizing of prostitution, there are other steps that must be taken.
