From Robin Thicke to Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus, 2014 seems to top the years with its explicit music videos, promotion of pornography, degradation of women and violence. YouTube has had to make decisions regarding content from all three artists.
Would you willingly donate money to an organization that promoted sexual exploitation and violence towards women? Across the globe, some universities are beginning to offer courses on pornography and entire weeks dedicated to sex workshops. Now that mainstream pornography contains violent themes, this means that the tuition at these universities is tied to the promotion of sexual exploitation and violence.
After waiting in vain for six years for federal action to enforce obscenity laws, anti-pornography activists are eager to hear what attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch plans to do.
“It is our hope that Loretta Lynch will aggressively prioritize and uphold the federal obscenity (hardcore pornography) laws that Attorney General Eric Holder ignored during his six-year tenure,” said Patrick Trueman, president of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, formerly known as Morality in Media.
“There would be a break-in process where she would get tied up to a toilet without water or any food or nothing.”
Opposition to sex trafficking is almost universal. People don’t think anyone should be forced into sexual acts for another’s gratification. Yet, this form of slavery is widespread, even in Western nations.

I have just returned from Washington, D.C. where Morality in Media’s new president Pat Trueman and assistant Dawn Hawkins gathered anti-pornography leaders from all over the country for the first time in 27 years. They have ignited a fire in anti-pornography fighters and have achieved outstanding successes this year.

The booming demand for trafficked women and children in recent years is due in part to the proliferation of pornography.
