NCOSE to host National Briefing at U.S. Capitol on Policy Recommendations to Curb Exploitation

By:

Like never before in this country’s history, America is suffering from systemic sexual exploitation.

Sex trafficking, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, pornography and more, are issues significantly impacting American citizens, families, and communities.

This is a critical time in the history of the United States to address these staggering harms. The evidence supports the fact that these forms of sexual abuse overlap and reinforce one another, yet the federal government primarily operates as if these issues exist in a vacuum.

That is why the National Center on Sexual Exploitation is presenting Congressional staffers and members of the Executive branch with “The Freedom from Sexploitation Agenda” in a National Briefing at the U.S. Capitol on March 20, 2017. NCOSE is bringing in top experts on areas of exploitation to educate and outline policy recommendations to address the FULL spectrum of sexual exploitation. While this event is for Members of Congress and their staff, it is also complimentary and open to the public. We hope that you will be with us for this major event that we are certain will go down in history as a wake-up call to our goverment leaders.

As a nonpartisan nonprofit, NCOSE works to advance freedom from sexual harm in every administration and therefore is acting during this timely transition period when policy agendas are being constructed for the years to come.

This plan will offer robust and critical recommendations to powerfully combat sexual exploitation, protect human rights, and preserve human dignity.

Here is a press conference we hosted recently outlining a few of the Freedom Agenda points:

No other organization in America is pulling together such a comprehensive action plan for Congress on these issues. If you care about influencing governmental policies to defend dignity and decency in America, then this is the key time to invest in that future.

We have the connections to host the event in the U.S. Capitol building, we have the experts ready to give testimonies, we just need your help to set this event in motion.

  1. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES KNOW THAT YOU WANT THEM TO ATTEND! Contact them via their websites or through the form above.
  2. Will you donate to help cover the costs of this event?
