Popular PC Gaming Store Hosts “Candy Crush with Porn”-style Video Game

HuniePop is a game available on Steam, a popular gaming platform that sells and distributes thousands of video games for all sorts of systems, including the PC, Mac, mobile devices, and more. Steam includes popular games in a variety of categories, including adventure, action, and sports, to name only a few. The problem is that along with these mainstream gaming categories comes nudity, sexual content, and gratuitous sexual violence.

One of these games is called HuniePop, frequently described as “candy crush with porn”. In this game, which has over 15,000 “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam, the player beats various puzzles similar to Candy Crush and are rewarded with women taking off their clothes.

Once you beat a level, the player gets the ultimate reward: sex with the woman.

Screenshots have been included from real players reviewing the game. Some highlights include:

  • “This is a game about lying to women as much as you possibly can so you can eventually have sex with them.”
  • “Continue having sex with 11 different women (and a cat) your entire life without any of them knowing about your numerous and frequent affairs”
  • “There’s racism, and all the girls are less human beings and more caricatures of what certain human cliques are supposed to be, but that’s alright: it makes it even funnier, as long as you don’t take it seriously.”

Unless you have parental controls on, which you can read about here, this game and countless others with similar content are readily available with only a few clicks away from the homepage. Steam must be held accountable for not only allowing this game to be on their platform but for not providing proficient parental controls and safety features to make sure games of this nature are found by especially vulnerable children.
