Utah Resolution Declaring Pornography a Public Health Crisis Passes Committee!

By:

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) is leading the national movement to address pornography as a public health crisis. After hosting a symposium on Capitol Hill last year to educate Congress on the harms of pornography, NCOSE drafted a resolution declaring pornography a public health crisis. That resolution is currently being considered by the Utah state legislature. Last Friday, this resolution passed committee unanimously, and it will soon be up for a formal vote.

We are on our way to making history!

This resolution has the possibility of shifting the cultural perception of pornography for years to come, and the National Center on Sexual Exploitation is spearheading the movement. If this resolution is passed, many other statesmay seek to pass the same declaration as well! Formal recognition from states that pornography harms individuals, families, and society will mark a major turning point in the movement to end sexual exploitation.

Now is the time to join with the National Center on Sexual Exploitation in leading the country towards this goal.

Donate, so that we can reach out to educate other states that may move to address the problem of pornography in the future.

There has been a lot of press about this resolution, and it’s exciting to see the media addressing this news! Check out a few of the related articles, below:
