VICTORY! ‘Epstein Files Transparency Act’ Signed Into Law!

By:

In a rare and hopeful moment of unity, the Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed, almost unanimously, in Congress and signed into law by President Trump! The bill passed 427-1 in the House of Representatives and unanimously in the Senate. This is a long-awaited step forward for justice and a testament to the relentless courage of survivors.

The bill, House Resolution 581, mandates the full release of government files related to the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking network.

Survivor Voices Prevail in a Divided Political Climate

This victory was forged by the powerful voices of survivors who demanded to be heard. Their unrelenting calls for transparency and accountability brought together leaders from both sides of the political aisle, proving that the pursuit of justice can and must transcend partisan divides.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Rep. Thomas Massie, Rep. Ro Khanna, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who stood with survivors and courageously supported the effort to release the files.

Speaking at a recent press conference alongside a bipartisan group of congressional leaders, NCOSE Survivor Services Coordinator Teresa J. Helm, herself an Epstein/Maxwell survivor, captured the spirit of the day.

“Today is a good day and I thank God for that,” Helm declared. “It’s widely and undeniably clear that our current political climate is quite rigid and seemingly at war with one another. This sets a stage for voices – survivor voices – to get spoken over and drowned out by the political darts whizzing by. Not today though. Today our truth and our power have steadily risen up … Our voices prevail today.”

Helm continued, “Republicans and Democrats, we all stand together today. We all stand together for justice and we must continue to do so to protect the integrity of our country and our democracy.”

The DOJ Has 30 Days to Release the Files

The signing of this bill into law gives the Department of Justice 30 days to release documents related to Epstein and Maxwell’s sex trafficking operations.

The next step: ensure this is followed up with real accountability for perpetrators and facilitators of sexual abuse associated with Epstein and Maxwell. Survivors who have waited for so long deserve nothing less!
