Chasing a Sexual Exploiter of Children in Cambodia Led to this Realization

By:

Our ally, Benjamin Nolot, filmmaker and founder of Exodus Cry, gave powerful testimony at the United Nations about the critical need to stop the demand for commercial sex if we want to curb sex trafficking. He shared his account of chasing a child sex buyer from a western country through the streets in the small village of Svay Pak in Cambodia.

As he caught up to the guy, he realized that the only reason girls in that village were being sold for sex was because men were willing to buy them.”

We cannot solve the problem of sex trafficking unless we really address the factors that normalize sex buying in our society and thus increase the demand for commercial sex. Thank you, Exodus Cry, for your tireless work to raise the truth about these issues.
